  5. This really helped me, thank you.

Is it possible to do the restore without the confirmation?
So it will start directly after selecting Restore to Default Image- C:DRIVE.

  9. Don't use EXT2 as the filesystem, it can be written to. You should use a read-only filesystem like ISO9660.

GRUB4DOS can boot from ISO9660 just fine.

Further, what if you have a UEFI based motherboard, and do not use the BIOS emulation mode. GRUB4DOS cannot boot as it runs in 16bit-mode. UEFI runs in 32bit-mode.

You can achieve the same thing with Linux Kernel EFIStub boot, but the process to set it up and much different. ANd only some UEFI's (like ASUS's i believe) support hotkeys. (maybe I'm wrong on the hotkey part, maybe all support it.

  11. Salaams Sidi.
This is for MBR. What about UEFI?
Or even GPT which is what modern (2015+ PCs/laptops)use? Is there an opensource utility that will do GPT and if so can you recommend your favourite one.
    Thanks
